Sound of the South Band

The Troy University Alumni Band, with the support of Dr. Michael Thrasher, Dean of the College of Communications and Fine Arts, is leading an initiative to raise funds for the Sound of the South. The funds are needed to support new updates on the practice field, to include the construction of a new observation tower, and the purchasing of new equipment, such as a UTV and utility trailer.

We have an initial goal to raise $25,000 by June 30^th for the purchase of the UTV and utility trailer and we are off to a great start with contributions received during Troy University’s fifth annual Giving Day.  We still have a long way to go to reach this first goal and need your help. 

This is an opportunity to support our beloved band in a way that is beneficial and lasting. Your donation - no matter how large or how small - will help us create a lasting reminder of just how special it is to be an alumnus of TROY and the Sound of the South.
