Troy University Choir

Members of Troy University Choirs will travel to Toronto, Canada in June 2023 to participate in the Canada Choral Festival through KI Concerts. The singers will perform their own concert, as well as rehearse and perform with other choirs to produce a final mass concert. In addition, the conductor/composer-in-residence, Dr. Kevin Padworski, will work with the singers to create and commission a brand-new piece that will be premiered at the final concert. Singers on the trip will also have opportunities to visit many places in Toronto, as well as go to Niagara Falls.

This is the first time the choral program has taken an international tour in at least 30 years. The trip will allow students to perform for a wider audience in impressive venues. The trip also gives our choral students a chance to sing under the direction of a renowned choral composer and conductor.
