This fund is primarily used for needs related to the construction, maintenance, and equipment needs of the Center for Materials and Manufacturing Sciences.
This fund aids research-related student travel and stipends for guest speakers for School of Science and Technology.
Thanks to alumni and friends like you, 2022 was a successful year for the CAS. Your support makes it possible for us to enhance learning experiences and create opportunities for our students. Our students are involved with research happening in Tutwiler prisons, excavations for prehistoric artifacts in Italy, expanding current technology’s understanding of big data, and more. The ceiling for what TROY graduates are capable of has never been higher!
Troy University recently broke ground on a new facility that will house the Center for Materials and Manufacturing Sciences. This center will focus on polymer & plastic recycling and be home to over twenty laboratories for research in fields such as chromatography, thermal analysis, mechanical testing, and more. CMMS will serve as a fully integrated multi-disciplinary research facility that will serve across majors and academic rank. We hope to have your support!
The expected completion date is currently Fall 2024.
For the first time, you can be a part of an exclusive group of donors through membership in the Arts & Science Alliance, a new college-based giving society. The Alliance welcomes donors who give $1,000 or more annually to any CAS fund, while those who have graduated in the last 15 years are eligible through a minimum contribution of $500.
Contributions can made throughout the year to reach the Alliance level and can even be established by signing up for smaller monthly recurring gifts.
