Troy Cancer Research Core

The Troy Cancer Research Core is a diverse cohort of multidisciplinary faculty researchers and students working hard to unravel the complexities of cancer through transformational research. With the support of various granting agencies and many generous donors, the center is taking a leading role in conquering cancers in our time. Our cancer research Core leverages our collaborative relationships with local hospitals and centers and national research-intensive institutions such as The University of Alabama at Birmingham, Tuskegee University, The University of Michigan and John Hopkins University. The Cancer Research Core’s outstanding and distinctive programs in research and community outreach help change the lives of those impacted by cancer.

Our Cancer Research core is the only research-focused institute in Pike County. Our research program includes multidisciplinary faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students as stakeholders in every step of the research process.
